Many mainstream cosmetic and beauty brands are now making a concerted effort to create products that specifically solve pain points for women of color and Epara sets itself apart as a luxurious natural beauty brand that provides high-end options for the underserved market segment. According to entrepreneur Ozohu Adoh, who created Epara Skincare, the organic and natural skincare brand boasts appeal to affluent women of color but it also serves as an aspirational brand for young teens of color.
Some of the products offered by the brand include moisturizing face creams, overnight balms and hydrating serums, which incorporate various oils, butters and plant extracts.
As of the end of October, Epara Skincare will be available to consumers in the United States exclusively through Barneys New York.
