Even with the advent of homesharing platforms like Airbnb, vacations can end up being expensive, but with 'Love Home Swap,' users can save by offering up their own spaces in return. The new platform makes the sharing economy literal, allowing users to swap homes with one another for agreed upon terms and lengths, saving both parties from the expenses of lodgings when traveling.
To use Love Home Swap, one enters information about their own house or apartment and then inputs the type of place that most interests them. Users are matched with one another through the platform based on their offerings, and they can communicate with one another to organize the trip.
The site also offers a 'Points' system that lets users bank points rather than trading homes at the same time. If a user is planning to be out of home for two weeks on business, for example, they can let another user stay there for Points (which can then be used later to stay somewhere else.)
