Lorcan O’Herlihy Architects created this multi-family home in the neighborhood of West Hollywood, an area certainly not wanting of luxury and modern architecture. Lorcan O’Herlihy sees a movement of new urbanism in the area, and the building at 1050 Gardner is a great example of shared living at its best.
European cities have long preferred closeness to grass yards, and new urbanism is once again promoting social ties and community building (at the expense of a three-car garage).
