Recovering from addiction can be a long and difficult process, but the Loosid app is hoping to make it easier by connecting users to form like-minded sober communities. According to a press release from the company, "through Loosid, it's easy to find other people who share your perspective, who know all too well that being sober doesn't mean life has to be boring." Through the Loosid app, users are encouraged to meet supportive people while still engaging in fun and adventurous activities.
In addition to forming communities, the Loosid app also offers a free suite of recovery tools to help users maintain sobriety. The app isn't affiliated with Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, or any other recovery program. Instead, the app honors various traditions outside of any established organizations.
