Orchard Pig is Offering London Taxi Rides in a 'Traxi'

To bring a taste of the country to the heart of the city, cider brand Orchard Pig is launching an alternative London taxi service called the 'Traxi.'

For one day only, the tractor-style taxi service will give Londoners the chance to tweet at the brand on social media to arrange a ride and unwind with a cider on the way home as they weave through the bustling city streets. The roomy Traxi accommodates up to eight passengers at a time, which will be picked up from a local pub.

As Orchard Pig notes: "In true Orchard Pig fashion, we don’t care about holding up the traffic – we just want everyone to kick back and relax while enjoying a cold, refreshing cider on a Friday."
