Logo-Liberating Graphics

The 'When Brands Go Wild' Collection Sets Logo Animals Free

Freeing logo animals from their branded prisons, Salim Zerrouki created a series of works in 'When Brands Go Wild.' The designer took animals from well-known brands and reinvisioned them as real creatures. Each graphic takes a combination of famous logos and combines them to create comical scenes.

Using only logos, Zerrouki managed to personify brands through their positioning relative to other logo animals. In one design, the Red Bull cattle is charging towards the Le Coq Sportif rooster who has a speech bubble with the Laughing Cow logo. The rooster seems to be identifying the bull as it rushes headlong towards Le Coq Sportif's mascot. Zerrouki also managed to place logos in completely unexpected situations by pitting the Puma cougar against Jaguar's mascot.
