The L’Officiel Turkey May 2013 editorial is heavily influenced by Eastern cultures. Specifically embracing the look of the geisha, from kimono-like silhouettes to painted faces and floral accessories, the photoshoot nevertheless gives the outfits a contemporary twist that would appeal to Westerners as well.
Starring model Emily Senko, the L’Officiel Turkey May 2013 editorial was shot in studio against basic black and grey backdrops by photographer Emre Guven. At once regal and exotic, the blonde beauty was styled by Nazli Alaca, who put together a darkly rich wardrobe that would suit the fall season as much as the spring. The looks were perfected with winged eyeliner by Ali Riza Ozdemir and voluminous updos by Ibrahim Zengin.
