Chicken and waffles is a classic Southern US dish that is loved in North America and around the world, so the new Red Lobster Lobster and Waffles has been created by the restaurant chain as a take on the quintessential meal.

The meal consists of deep-fried lobster that has been placed on top of waffles that are made from the chain's Cheddar Bay Biscuit mix for a savory take on traditional waffles. The dish comes drizzled with maple syrup to offer patrons a meal that is sweet, savory and unlike anything they've tried from the chain.

The Red Lobster Lobster and Waffles dish is set to hit restaurants starting on March 26 for a limited time only.
