Lance Armstrong Travels to Mexico to Kick Off LIVESTRONG Initiative

Over the weekend, Lance Armstrong headed to Mexico to meet with President Felipe Calderón Hinojosa to officially kick off the LIVESTRONG Global Cancer Campaign. According to MSNBC, President Calderón pledged to support the LIVESTRONG campaign; he and Armstrong discussed their cancer prevention goals before an audience of 400 members of the media and children.

Directly after the meeting with President Calderón, Lance Armstrong traveled to Oaxaca City. There, MSNBC reports that on Sunday, he waved the starting flag at the Vuelta Mexico Telmex cycling race.
