These limited-edition Sprite cans are part of a campaign called 'Obey Your Verse' which is clever play on Sprite's usual phrase 'Obey Your Thirst.' Sprite has been part of the hip-hop music scene for decades so it decided to pay tribute to its cultural connection by created a lyric-infused label.
The labels will include lyrics from famous artists such as Nas, Notorious BIG, Rakim and Drake. The limited-edition Sprite cans will come with 16 different song verses from the four artists.
Each artist has agreed to work with Sprite in this collaboration and Nas even said, "When I wrote these lyrics, I never imagined my fans would someday have the opportunity to enjoy a can of Sprite and experience my art in a totally original way."
