Light Gives Heat Offers Beautiful Products and Restores Lives

According to their website, Light Gives Heat is “empowering Africans through the encouragement of economic sustainability and creative endeavors. Motivating people in the west to 'be the change they want to see in the world.'" Dedicated towards taking an active role in improving the lives of people in Uganda, the founders of Light Gives Heat (Dave and Morgan Hansow) moved to Africa and began the non-profit organization after researching what the local people needed.

Offering women from war-torn Northern Uganda the opportunity to earn a consistent wage, Light Gives Heat's two brands (EPOH and SUUBI) provide beautiful products from ethical sources.
