Cascading Lightning Sculptures

These Magnificent Light Accessories Hang Beneath Mall Lights

These delicate lightning sculptures create elegant light accessories that cascade from the ceiling lights at the Park Lane area of Meadowhall Shopping Centre. Each waterfall of lighting flows from the ceiling in an intricate form of individually hung abstract shaped pieces of laser cut polished stainless steel and clear acrylic. Suspended by steel drop wires, the crystals and acrylic components are illuminated by the LED lights above.

As a collaborative project, these light accessories were created by The Harris Partnership/BDP Lighting and Northern Lights, which is a manufacturing company.

This task was assigned to meet two of the mall's major demands. The first was to connect the two-storey mall and the second was to present guests with a "wow-factor." It is safe to say these amazing fixtures immaculately meet both criteria.
