Digitized Shopping Loyalty Cards

Lidl Belgium Unveils a Streamlined Digital Loyalty Program

Lidl Belgium introduces its first consumer loyalty card that can be accessed online through its own Lidl Plus app. This new program allows consumers to use their benefits digitally and receive their cash register tickets through the platform as well.

This creates a more seamless approach to accessing any digital coupons to increase shopping satisfaction and loyalty. Thomas De Ganck, the head of digital and innovation at Lidl Belgium states that, "The application also includes other services such as the digital receipt of checkout tickets, access to promotional brochures and a store locator." To use the platform, customers must download the app on iOS or Android, register with their name, email, and local store before getting a generated QR code and customer number.
