Lethal Lit Hopes to Draw More Teenagers to the Podcast Genre

iHearMedia has grown into a popular platform over the last few years and the mass media corporation is finally ready to release its first-ever scripted podcast known as Lethal Lit. The six-part mystery-themed podcast seems to be aimed at teenagers and will be created alongside creative studio Einhorn’s Epic Productions and Archie Comic co-president Alex Segura.

The decision to create Lethal Lit came from the increased validation of podcasts as a legitimate media form, as well as the growing popularity of the teen podcasting niche. According to Chris Peterson, senior VP at podcasting at iHeartMedia, the Lethal Lit podcast is part of the company's goal of attracting a younger audience and introducing them to the medium of podcasting.
