Video Podcast Expansion

Netflix and iHeartMedia Bring Video Podcasts to the Streaming Platform

Netflix and iHeartMedia establish an exclusive partnership to distribute video versions of popular podcasts on Netflix. Under the agreement, more than 15 shows produced by iHeartMedia will debut their video episodes on Netflix in the United States beginning in early 2026. Titles included in the initial lineup span comedy, true crime, culture, and sports, and feature programs such as The Breakfast Club, My Favorite Murder, Dear Chelsea, and The Psychology of Your 20s. Netflix will hold exclusive rights to the video formats, while iHeartMedia will continue to distribute audio-only versions through its own platforms and other podcast services.

The agreement covers both newly produced video episodes and selected episodes from existing podcast catalogs. iHeartMedia retains ownership of the intellectual property and production responsibilities, while Netflix serves as the exclusive distributor for video presentation. Additional shows may be added to the slate over time, with plans to expand availability beyond the US market at a later stage.
