Leica Adds a Metallic Grey Finish to Cameras and Lenses

— June 2, 2026 — Art & Design
Leica has expanded its camera lineup with a new metallic grey finish developed at the company’s Wetzlar factory. The metallic grey collection includes the Leica M11-P, Leica Q3, Leica D-Lux 8, and APO-Summicron-M 50 f/2 ASPH. lens. The finish introduces a new option alongside Leica’s traditional black and silver designs. Matching accessories accompany several products in the range, including leather straps, camera protectors, cases, and battery covers designed to coordinate with the updated colorway.

The Leica M11-P features a full-metal body with diamond-patterned leather detailing, while the APO-Summicron-M 50 f/2 ASPH. lens uses matching metallic grey surfaces with red engraved markings. The Leica Q3 adopts the same finish across its compact full-frame camera body, and the Leica D-Lux 8 pairs the colorway with a compact form factor and integrated zoom lens.
