Legosonic BSR-12 Recreates a Vintage Alarm Clock in LEGO

Legosonic BSR-12 is a LEGO Ideas concept by 91-Brickdesigns that recreates the appearance and mechanical details of late-1970s and early-1980s clock radios. Built from approximately 1,400 pieces, the model features spring-loaded toggle switches, geared sliders, rotating control dials, a flip-clock style display and a movable tuning indicator spanning simulated AM and FM radio bands. A functional time-setting mechanism adds interactive movement while preserving the look of a classic bedside radio.

The interior includes a brick-built circuit board with color-coded resistors, capacitors and an integrated chip beneath a removable top panel. Additional details include a concealed speaker behind a sliding ventilation grille, a rear specification plate, an AC power input and a power switch modeled after vintage consumer electronics. The project currently holds LEGO Ideas Staff Pick status and is collecting supporter votes toward the 10,000 required for official LEGO review.
