McDonald’s Australia's Legends Menu Features Two New Aussie Creations

With the Rio Games just around the corner, McDonald's Australia is rolling out its new Legends Menu. During the Olympics, many brands capitalize on national pride by creating dishes inspired by each country's cuisine. This new burger menu appeals to patriotic Aussies with two delicious creations inspired by popular Australian dishes.

The Legends Menu consists of two new burgers that are "made for Aussie legends." The first is the Aussie Chicken 'n' Pineapple Burger, which consists of a grilled or crispy chicken patty topped with a slice of pineapple, rasher bacon, cheese, lettuce and creamy mayo. The second dish on the new menu is the Aussie Angus 'n' Egg Burger, which consists of a patty made from 100 percent Aussie Angus beef, rasher bacon, caramelized onions, lettuce, tomato, a slice of beetroot, a freshly cracked egg and BBQ sauce. Both dishes give consumers a delicious way to show their support for Aussie athletes during the 2016 Olympic games.
