The Syrmo App Makes Tracking Your Tricks and Learning to Skate Easy

Learning to skate on a skateboard seems like just one of those things that you just have to go out and do, which is what makes the awesome Syrmo app the best kind of guide you can have.

A small, unobtrusive device attached to a skateboard's trucks adds Bluetooth capabilities, motion tracking and memory, which are synced to the app. When you're out practicing, the app captures the number of tricks you do, captures videos and makes 3D-rendered replays of the stunts you do.

The app is still in alpha testing, but it will be available for most of the newer Apple and Android devices. With a Kickstarter campaign up and running, the Syrmo Crew is hoping to raise $40,000 to put towards the next stages in prototyping and manufacturing.
