La Revolta, a Spain-based company that specializes in innovations in the electric personal mobility space, has launched a new electric skateboard that allows skateboarding enthusiasts to access a new level of power, comfort and style.
The 'Traqpod 3' is similar to its original predecessor in that it is fitted with retractable wheels, a concave design and a comfortable rubber gripping surface for your feet. However, what this new electric skateboard adds to the mix is the inclusion of a 450-watt motor on the rear. Users can access a handheld remote control to switch different speeds and gear settings, with the board itself harnessing power by way of a lithium-ion battery that guarantees a range of around 18 km on a full charge.
Currently the subject of a crowdfunding campaign, this new electric skateboard can be reserved for a pledge of $492 for the single-motor version and $712 if you'd prefer a motor on both rear wheels rather than just the one.
