With watching movies online becoming a more mainstream activity, Jeremy Gutsche was recently featured in Leader Post for his views on the diminishing movie rental industry.
Since Internet rentals provide a more convenient method of accessing newer content while including a broader selection, it becomes understandable that today's technology-driven world is leaning towards this virtual method of renting films.
Jeremy Gutsche, head of Trend Hunter, the world's largest trend website, said people have spent more time online than watching TV over the last decade.
"We now prefer to find out content quickly online," he said. "Online movie rental companies like Netflix have found the sweet spot in convergence between new technology and the consumer demand for instant access to content."
