In recent years, there has been a dire need for innovation when it comes to laundry detergent packaging, as a number of kids have been sent to the hospital due to confusing the colorful pods for candy. In order to prevent future child poisonings from happening, Boulder Clean launched its new Natural Liquid Laundry Detergent Packs in a child-resistant packaging pouch complete with a zipper.

In order to make the zipper more difficult to open than other comparable closures, this stand-up Boulder Clean pouch design boasts a design that requires a tab to be aligned to a notch, then pressed before sliding the zipper open. As a result, adults will be able to access the laundry product, while kids will struggle with the coordination required for opening.
