Sibling designers Begum and Bike Ayaskan of Studio Ayaskan have created a profoundly beautiful laser clock that comes with an artistic statement.
The design of the clock features a UV light that is used to "invoke a color change within a transparent photochromic solution," which functions as the ticking hand of the clock. The serene-looking clock makes a statement on the concept of time by doing more than just telling it -- its light slowly fades as the time moves forward and remains visible by leaving a trail of fading color. This aims to represent the progression of time and the connection between the past, present and future.
The representation of the concept of time in this laser clock is extremely artfully done and its minimalist design is sure to capture consumers' attention.
