Dozens of canned water products are now being created for environmental reasons yet Larkfire is a unique canned water product that was created specifically to amplify the flavors of whisky. The new and premium product from the Scottish-sourced canned water brand was inspired by a pair of whisky enthusiasts who took notice of people drinking wild water from the streams in Scotland. The water of the region is known for its purity and low mineral content, as well as its soft quality and slight golden color.

In 2017, two Swedish chemists published a paper in the Scientific Reports journal sharing why whisky tastes better when water is added. Now, consumers are able to enjoy whiskey with a greater depth of flavor thanks to Larkfire, which is touted as the "very finest water to mix with whisky."
