Intended for the creative and artistically gifted, this recipe calls for the standard list of crepe ingredients including flour, eggs, milk, sugar and butter as well as some sweet additions such as icing sugar and some chopped up fruit.
The trick to creating the delicate, heart-inspired shapes of these Lace Crepes is by using a fine sieve to remove any clumps from the batter and then dispensing it onto a pan using a squeeze bottle. The squeeze bottle enables bakers to accurately and artistically recreate the small and very detailed designs of a lace doily.
