Quebec-based architect group YH2 created the the Lac Plaisant Cottage, a modest yet modern home near the Parc National de la Mauricie. This simplistic cottage sits right on the edge of the lake, with a single gabled roof and unique shape. The exterior is covered in a white cedar, making it contrast to the surrounding nature.
This cottage is two stories high, with exposed beams that were painted a clean white color. Positioned towards the lake-shore, the main living area has large windows that offer an expansive view. The roof is over-sized and creates a cover for the large patio that is ideal for entertaining without hiding its stunning surroundings. The Lac Plaisant Cottage seamlessly mixes simplicity with high-end finishes.
