Borova Lada Cottage by Studio Plys is a Residential Project in Ukraine

Borova Lada Cottage by Studio Plys is a residential project located in a forested area of Ukraine designed for private use. The cottage is organised into a compact plan with living, sleeping, and service spaces arranged to respond to the site’s natural topography. The design uses a combination of timber and glass on the exterior to integrate indoor spaces with surrounding vegetation, allowing direct visual connection between the interior and landscape.

The structure is elevated on a series of supports that reduce ground disturbance and establish a minimal footprint within the woodland setting. Interior layouts prioritise openness and daylight access, with large glazed panels facing key sightlines. Material choices include durable timber cladding and engineered finishes intended for long-term exposure to environmental conditions. The project focuses on straightforward construction methods and clear spatial organisation to support everyday residential use within a natural context.
