Luxury Artisanal Furniture Collections

Fendy and Mabeo Unveiled the Kompa Collection

The Kompa Collection was created in a collaborative effort between Fendi and Mabeo. Mabeo is a Botswana, Afrida-based furniture and accessories brand that worked with artisans across the country to develop a unique story through furniture.

The collection presents a range of Botswanian techniques and viewpoints through various crafts. With help from Fendi, the Kompa Collection was completed with 10 pieces of unique furniture using interrelated craft methods from across the African country. The collection gets its name from Mabeo's oldest craftsperson and means something that is holistically complete, which is exhibited through the range of craftsmanship. Kompa comprises the Loma Stool, the efo Stool, the Maduo Chair, and more artisanally crafted items, some of which are made using ancient pottery methods.
