According to Alberto Da Passano, the expanding Fendi Casa furniture collection is "reflective of an increasing desire from Fendi customers to be part of the brand’s lifestyle." During this year's Milan Design Week, the label debuted a number of furniture luxury pieces like The Peekasit sofa, created in collaboration with Controvento Design studio, and the Groove & Groovy armchair in "a fun orange long-hair shearling version."
Fendi Casa's furniture expansion was showcased in Milan’s Piazza della Scala, a location that the label moved into last year. There are many accents within the space, one of which are the arched front-facing windows designed by Joost van Bleiswijk who drew inspiration from ancient Roman architecture to pay homage to Italy's cultural heritage.
