Koichi Kimura Architects and FORM designed this house renovation in a building that was first erected 23 years ago, but the architects did a great job of making it look distinctly modern by focusing on an angular theme. The exterior of the home is a series of cubic volumes clad in black paneling, and the cubic motif continues on the interior. One of the clever touches from the designers is a cubic black wood-burning fireplace that looks like a miniature version of the house as a whole.
