Trends expert Jeremy Gutsche sat down with Kiss 92.5 Toronto radio hosts Roz and Mocha to discuss 2014 trends from TrendHunter.com.
During the interview, Jeremy touched on a variety of topics and things to look out for this year. Among the trends he discussed, standout ones include food-focused getaways, Instant Entrepreneurship and Micro Adaption.
When it comes to booking a vacation, consumers are no longer looking for affordability and comfortable pillows in a hotel room. 2014 is the year consumers will be seeking unique, immersive and memorable experiences while traveling. There is now a huge market targeted to travelers with culinary curiosity. From beer spas to cake hotels where everything from the pillows to wall decor is edible, vacations have completely transformed.
Instant entrepreneurship sees individuals bypassing traditional business models by being able to design and produce their own products as a result of 3D printing.
