SVOYA Studio was tasked with designing and arranging a kid-friendly apartment for a family of four in Dnipro, Ukraine. The brief called for a stylishly chic contemporary space that put a focus on the children who will be occupying the space. SVOYA Studio reduced the living space of the dwelling to better cater to the younger residents. Thanks to this move, the design firm was able to expand the concept of the kid-friendly apartment by providing the daughters with separate places to sleep, as well as a communal area to study and play.
By sharply defining these boundaries, SVOYA Studio is also able to contain the clutter from toys and things within the parameters of the communal area, while the main living room remains open and clean.
