This Kia Super Bowl Commercial Ad Steers Away from Action-Packed Scenes

With an ad spot starring Pierce Brosnan, it's not unreasonable to expect that this year's Kia Super Bowl commercial would be jam-packed with James Bond-style action. In keeping with this idea, Kia's irreverent ad for the Sorento gives viewers the exact opposite. The ad is set up with an agent pitching a role to Brosnan, in what he assumes will be an action-packed commercial with snipers, high-speed chases and dangerous scenery.

These expectations are quickly dashed when it becomes clear that rather than driving 200 mph, the ad would have Brosnan drive 30. This extended version of the Super Bowl ad cleverly sums up the commercial by calling the Kia Sorento the perfect "getaway" vehicle.
