The First-Ever All-You-Can-Eat KFC Buffet is Set to Open in Osaka, Japan

For fried chicken lovers with iron-cast stomachs, the first-ever KFC Buffet is opening in Osaka, Japan.

Japan has a long and loving relationship with KFC. The first famous fried chicken restaurant to open in Japan was a trial location in the American pavilion at Osaka's 1970 Japan World Exposition, and it's been a Japanese favorite ever since. Now, a game-changing KFC Buffet is opening in Osaka at the Expo '70 Commemorative Park. The KFC Buffet will give customers 90 minutes to eat all of the KFC Original Recipe Chicken that they possibly can. Over 60 side items will also be available, including biscuits, coleslaw and macaroni and cheese.

The KFC Buffet will also draw customers in with traditional, Southern-style decor, including a display of the actual iconic suit worn by Colonel Sanders.
