‘Foam Spa’ by Japanese designer Kenya Hara is a bath that won’t be forgotten. Lathered with fluffy foam, users can experience the ultimate bubble bath that’ll embrace the body like a melted marshmallow.
Hara created this bubbly bath experience for LIXIL, Japan’s largest kitchen and bathroom fixture manufacturing company, during the Milan Design Week 2012. Foam Spa is truly a one-of-a-kind bath where foam gives the body a soothing embrace, while the water maintains at a desirable temperature. Hara developed this bathing technology where it's able to control water and air, enveloping users in blissful warm foam.
Imagine sipping on wine while enjoying a frothy warm and foamy bath that does all the work while you relax. The mixture of air and hot water from a generating unit allows the foam to act as a lid, preventing the water from cooling and blocking the steam from rising.
