Kaye Donachie Captures the Idyllic and Quiet Moments

Kaye Donachie is a 41-year-old English illustrator with a penchant for art that is unsettling in its simplicity, and ambigiously leaves the "story" of each painting to the viewer's imagination.

Kaye Donachie is classically trained in the art world. She is a graduate of the University of Central England with an Honours BA in Fine Arts, and an MA graduate of the Royal College of Art in London, England. Her extensive training is evident in her portfolio, where images of teenagers furtively sitting in a cave or naked and walking towards a ravine are gripping, mysterious, and alluring.

The media has taken notice. Kaye Donachie has had her artwork highlighted by Vogue.com, the New York Sun, and Interview Magazine amongst others. Her work has been exhibited at galleries around the world, including New York City, Frankfurt, Germany, and Nuremberg.
