Tilting Three-Wheeled EVs

The Kairos EV Uses a Tilt Functionality for Greater Stability

The Kairos EV has been designed by transport designer Mathieu L'Hopitault and is being developed through the SIREMS Association as a stable solution for modern roadways. The vehicle is characterized by its three-wheeled design that has two wheels in the rear and one in the front with space for up to two people in the seating section. The rider is positioned into a semi-reclined orientation during operation and will find the vehicle tilt during turns to greater elevate overall stability and prevent it from potentially tipping over.

SIREMS Association Founder Philippe Girardi spoke on the Kairos EV saying, "Although safety is the backdrop to this project, we don't want to offer a boring product. We've tried to ensure that each of the safety features also provides a visible benefit for the customer: more storage space, improved aerodynamics, a cool design, new dynamic characteristics and a new driving experience."
