Inspired by a popular campfire dessert, Aldi is selling S’mores Jumbo Cookie Kits that can be prepared in minutes to satisfy more than a dozen people at once. The oversized cookie kit from In The Mix by Brand Castle will only be available for a limited time—right around Labor Day weekend—and has the potential to help people round out the end of summer with a bang.
To prepare the jumbo cookie, which makes 16 servings, customers only need to add their own butter and water to the cookie mix. After the large-scale cookie has been baked for 12 minutes, it can be enhanced with chocolate and marshmallows to turn it into a decadent, S'mores-inspired treat.
While a handful of brands are experimenting with creating single-serve baking mixes to feed one, this S’mores Jumbo Cookie Kit takes the opposite approach with its shareable recipe.
