Paper Tattoo Art

The Jacob Dahlstrup 3D Tattoo Gives His Tattoo Machine a New Use

Artist Jacob Dahlstrup has created a drawing called
'On A Sailors Grave, No Roses Grow' using a very interesting technique.

Dahlstrup used a tattoo machine and drew a three-dimensional outline of a large skull surrounded by flowers on heavy water-color paper. Even without color, the technique shows the detail and time to achieve the 3D effect. It took Dahlstrip 38 days and about 100 hours to complete this artistic piece.
