Italian Embassy London Renovation Highlights a Curated Design

— September 1, 2025 — Art & Design
The Italian Embassy London has been reimagined to highlight the depth of Made in Italy craftsmanship. Designed by Nick Vinson with Avanti Architects, the renovation preserves the building’s heritage while introducing contemporary Italian design through furnishings, textiles, lighting, and art. Over a two-year period, pieces from more than fifty Italian brands, including Molteni & C, B&B Italia, Flos, and Poltrona Frau were curated to enrich the residence. The project transforms the second and third floors of a Grade II listed building dating back to 1868.

The approach balances tradition with modernity by retaining historic details such as fireplaces and staircases while integrating new fixtures and custom carpets designed by Vinson. The result is an interior that feels timeless yet contemporary, combining Italian design icons with carefully restored heritage to reflect both cultural pride and forward-looking vision.
