iSyncWave Detects Early Signs of Alzheimer's Dementia
Laura McQuarrie — January 14, 2021 — Life-Stages
iSyncWave is a brain-mapping helmet that's useful for detecting early signs of Alzheimer's dementia and thanks to its portable design, it helps to offer an alternative to the EEG machines used in doctor's offices and hospitals. The technology is designed to detect electrical activity in the brain to diagnose a variety of neurological disorders and iSyncWave makes early detection possible from home.
The portable helmet shown at CES 2021 is not only designed to offer early detection for Alzheimer's dementia but it also provides LED therapy treatments for a range of neurological conditions.
While EEG machines rely on adhesive patches and gel, iSyncWave only needs to be placed atop the head to begin providing a reading on the electrical activity in the brain.
