Iran is the subject of much controversy, so much so that the country's name tends to evoke images of grief, war and terror. That's why I was happy to find Life Goes On in Tehran, a beautiful photoblog which serves to prove just what its title says: showing that the people do continue to live, that there is beauty, and that Iran is indeed a real-life home for over 65 million people.
The Life Goes On in Tehran images were all snapped with a cell phone camera and include everything from scenic nature shots to glimpses of modern pop culture in Iran. Shots include images of people huddled in front of the TV watching soccer, much like you would see in Europe or North America.
