Iran-Inspired Fabric Collections

Christian Fischbacher & Hadi Teherani Debut Contemporary Persia

Contemporary Persia is the name of a new fabric collection by textile manufacturer Christian Fischbacher and architect Hadi Teherani. Through this new drop, the two creative collaborators sought to evoke and "interpret the unique diversity of Iran."

Contemporary Persia consists of curtain and upholstery fabrics in different colors, including blush pink, earthy sand, and muted greens. The materials that Christian Fischbacher and Hadi Teherani used to complete this capsule constituted a mix of natural materials like linen and wood, alongside polyester. The use of these radically different materials makes for interesting textures as Contemporary Persia blends coarse and fine sensations.

The work of Christian Fischbacher and Hadi Teherani will be presented for the first time to the public during Milan Design Week 2022.
