By now, I guess I should stop being surprised with architectural designs. Gone are the classic building structures we’re used to; now it’s all deluxe, futuristic shapes like the curvacious International Conference Center in Ouagadougou.
The International Conference Center in Ouagadougou, West Africa, was designed by Lille office Coldefy & Associes Architectes Urbanistes (CAAU). The center comprises of three saucer-like structures inspired by the calabash plant, which house the conference center itself, a banquet hall, and a VIP building.
