Royston Tan Directed an Educational Film About Drug Use

'High' is an interactive short film experience that seeks to engage youth and simultaneously educate them on "the challenges and choices relating to drug abuse." The awareness-raising short is directed by Royston Tan, in collaboration with Singapore's National Council Against Drug Abuse and Dentsu Aegis Network.

The interactive short film is effective in stressing the importance of staying informed and making the right decisions. Each choice that viewers make results in life-defining moments and consequences in the movie's narrative. Viewers "watch and experience the highs and lows of drug abuse through the film's characters" and can share their individual film endings on social media to spark conversations amongst their peers. Individuals can also learn about the highs and lows of different drugs through a chat-format FAQ session.
