LG's is now using InstaView technology and ColdSaver panels in its refrigerators in order to help consumers see and easily access items that are stored inside.
Opening a refrigerator door means that the the cold air that keeps food items fresh leaks out and is replaced by room-temperature air, which the appliance needs to work harder to chill. As a result, a consumer's energy bill and environmental footprint grow if a fridge door is opened needlessly.
There are now four new LG fridge designs that feature Door-in-Door technology to easily allow consumers to grab frequently used items without having to open the entire fridge system. To illuminate a compartment, consumers need only tap on the glass panel to see a preview of the items stored inside.
Key Themes Behind This Trend
- Instaview Technology
- The use of InstaView technology in refrigerators allows consumers to easily see and access items stored inside, reducing the need to open the door and saving energy.
- Coldsaver Panels
- The incorporation of ColdSaver panels in refrigerators helps maintain the cold air inside when the door is opened, minimizing energy consumption and environmental impact.
- Door-in-door Technology
- Fridge designs with Door-in-Door technology enable consumers to conveniently retrieve frequently used items without opening the entire fridge, leading to energy savings and improved efficiency.
