Shenzen-based camera brand Insta360 has launched the Insta360 ONE RS, an upgraded version of the brand's already released and widely popular Insta360 ONE R.
The new camera maintains the original's three-part modular design, which consists of a battery, a processor, and a quick swapping lens unit. The difference, however, is that the Insta360 ONE RS is an “interchangeable lens action camera,” not an adaptive action camera. What this means is that the new device comes with three different quick-swapping lenses that allow users to turn the action camera into a full-fledged 360-degree model. In addition, one of the lenses features a high-performance 4K Boost Lens with a 1/2" 48 MP image sensor.
Other notable features include cinematic 6K widescreen recording, active HDR, 4K 60 fps videoing, an upgraded battery, 2.7K instant zoom, 360 horizon locks, and improved waterproofing.
