The Insta360 One RS Camera Comes Equipped With a 4K Boost Lens

Chinese camera brand Insta360 has announced the launch of the Insta360 One RS, the second generation of its modular 2-in-1 camera -- the Insta360 One R -- which was released in 2020.

Although the new Insta360 One RS closely resembles the original model visually, it does boast a wide variety of new and exciting upgrades. These include an additional microphone for better audio recordings, greater processing power, improved in-camera stabilization, and faster Wi-Fi connectivity.

However, the most notable upgrade to the camera is its new 4K Boost lens, which features a larger 1/2-inch sensor that is capable of producing 48MP still images and 4K 60fps videos. In addition, the new lens allows users to capture Active HDR video and 6K widescreen video in a 2.35:1 ratio.
