The GoPro Anamorphic Lens Mod has been unveiled by the brand as an aftermarket accessory for use with the GoPro HERO 13 Black camera to add in capabilities for creators without having to rely on post-production editing.
The lens utilizes an optical squishing technique that will enable the camera to shoot in a 21:9 aspect ratio and capture high-quality cinematic-style lens flares. The action cam will automatically switch to the appropriate camera mode when it detects the lens has been connected to maximize ease of use.
The GoPro Anamorphic Lens Mod is available for $129.99 and is being added the HB-Series Lens Collection bundle that will also include the Macro lens and Ultra Wide lens for $349.99.
