Cork Board Backpacks

INROU Preserves Food and is the Perfect Fashionable Picnic Accessory

This INROU backpack was a contestant for the future of cork applications competition promoted by Corticeira AMORIM and Domaine the Boisbuchet.

The gorgeous dark blue, which accompanies this design, is a fantastic complement to the cork board with hopefully many more others to come.

The name INROU comes from a “traditional Japanese pocket box used in the ancient times to carry medicines and small objects,” explains the designers. Rui Pereira and Ryosuke Fukusada had been inspired by this fascinating tradition and combined it with the traditional Portuguese ‘tarro,’ which is a cork container that was used by the natives to preserve food.

Preserving and sturdy, the cork board backpack is an ideal picnic accessory that will maintain a visionary fashion statement.
